The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed. The desert was the apotheosis of all deserts, huge, standing to the skies for what looked like eternity. It waterless and was blinding and white and without feature save for the faint, muddy haze of the mountains which sketched themselves on the horizon. For once the trail that cut its way through the thick crust of alkali had been a highway, an tombstone sign pointed the way in which. Buckas and coaches had followed . The entire world had shifted since then. The entire world had emptied. A western/sci-fi/horror magnum opus. I had read but life happened. Finally finished it all off yesterday. It was definitely worth coming back to. Radically different from anything else King done.

One of my favourite literary characters would be Roland Deschain, by Stephen King's"The Dark Tower" series of novels. Set at a postapocalyptic version of our society, Roland will be the last of the gunslingers, knights of a now-lost planet. Undeterred and alone, Roland relentlessly pursues the man in dark. I have pictured creating a go to illustrate that line for a few time, also I finally made the trip to use to achieve it. I adore the idea of a personality driven that he is going to chase it into the point of walking on the desert at the chilly night to find a bit closer.
